Angel Garcia: Amir Khan has no chin, he was overrated!
Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 3:29:42 by Imran Shaukat KhanDanny Garcia is currently set to defend his WBC and WBA junior welterweight titles against Mexican legend Erik Morales in a rematch, which will take place October 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and while discussing about the fight Danny’s trainer Angel Garcia lashed out at Amir Khan saying that he is an overrated fighter.
Khan, who is more commonly known as King Khan, lost his titles against Garcia on July 14 in Las Vegas. He was dropped in the third round and twice in the fourth before the contest was stopped.
Angel insisted that his son was a huge underdog against the Brit but he proved his mettle in front of everyone.
The loud-mouth trainer said he called Amir Khan an overrated fighter and he proved his statement.
“Danny was always a great fighter, but people never seen it in him. I don’t know why. That’s how God wanted it and we’re following God’s path. I said from the beginning and I’ll say it again and nobody is going to change my mind – Khan was overrated. He didn’t have no chin. How can you be a great fighter with no chin? You have to have a chin [to be a great fighter] and we proved that [Danny is a great fighter and Khan is overrated] that night,” Angel told BoxingScene.com.
Angel is confident that his son will outclass Morales in their rematch as well but this time he believes there will be a lot more action for the audiences.
“The game plan for this fight is going to be a little bit different. The first time Danny hurt him and then gave him a little [too much] respect. This time Danny has to use his youth to go in there and hurt him, destroy him and take him down,” Angel said.
Well, all said and done, let’s see if Danny Garcia can shrug off Erik Morales for another time as well.

Khan is overrated! He talks a lot, but cannot back it up. He will never be in that elite class of fighters, that he wishes to be in. He doesn’t listen to his trainers’ advice and wants to go toe to toe with the other fighter.
