Policeman Killed in Peshawar Bomb Blast

In recent news received from Peshawar, a police officer died in an explosion which took place in the Raigi Area of the city.

The incident took place on Tuesday and the death toll was confirmed on Wednesday after a thorough investigation took place on the incident.

Recently things have not been going well in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. Most recent incidents have seen several police officers and security personnel dying due to the outlawed group, Tehreek E Taliban.

Most recently an Awami National Party leader lost his life in an accident after which Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak were held responsible and ANP leaders claimed that both these men should go to the police and complain against the Tehreek E Taliban and not some unknown men.

Moreover, after the death of SP CID, Aslam Chaudhry, the situation has turned from bad to worse. Tehreek E Taliban have openly claimed the responsibility for the death of all these men and now they claim that they are going to take the lives of every person who is responsible for killing different members of their group.

According to reports the bomb was planted near a bridge and killed only one man who was on patrol during that time. Two more bombs were also recovered from that site but they were later defused.
