Belarus Establishing its Embassy in Pakistan
Saturday, July 12th, 2014 2:05:04 by Ahmad MehdiIt was recently reported from MINSK, Belarus that the Pakistani Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain held meetings with senior Belarusians and agreed terms with them to develop an embassy in Pakistan. Moreover, the two parties are also going to have military and technical cooperation.
It has been announced from Belarusian side that they are going to open an embassy on 1st of September 2014, which is only one and a half month away. Moreover, they are also going to take part in the IDEAS 2014 exhibition, where they have been invited by Pakistanis. The two parties are going to join a booth for the defence sector.
The defence minister of Belarus, Yuri Zhadobin has also been invited by Pakistan and he is going to attend the 8th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar which is going to take place on 14th December 2014.
The two parties spoke a lot about their defences and different technical things that are involved in setting up a strong defence. The ace aircraft JF-17 was also discussed; which is currently being made in Pakistan.
There is also a possibility that the two parties might establish service centres and technical maintenance centres.
