The director and producer of Love Mein Ghum, Reema Khan, presented the movie with great publicity but she failed to give the Audience what they wanted.
The golden girl of Pakistani Cinema, Reema Khan tried to make this movie the best. She didn’t care about the budget and thus made the movie, the most expensive ever in Pakistan’s history.
“I have not compromised on any aspect of the movie, from Music to clothes, and from sets to post production everything is done with open heart and no compromises were made, the best available gadgets were used for the movie production and post-production,” the excited Pakistani actress declared.
Love Mein Ghum had all Lollywood essences from emotional breakdowns to co-incidental similarities between the hero and the heroin actions. Spicing the movie further, Reema chose best actors like Mommar Rana, Nadeem, Javed Sheikh and it also had great supporting actors like Johnny Lever, a famous Bollywood comedian.
Audio of this high profile flick was inspired by Bollywood hits. The singers includes Ali Zafar – sung the title song, Abrar-ul-Haq, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shazia Manzoor and Hunterz. Foreign presence was also in the album as the famous Indian playback singer, Kailash Kher also sang a song, Sohniye – Heeriye.
The much awaited Pakistani film was sure to re-create Lollywood flicks and to revive Pakistani cinema. However, she chose the wrong time to release the film. Love Mein Ghum was supposed to come out last year but due to worst flood hitting the country, the movie was delayed. It eventually came out few weeks later than the huge Shoaib Mansoor’s “Bol” project.
Just another love story, Love Mein Ghum was of no match against Bol, which was not only appreciated in Pakistan but also praised by famous Bollywood stars. With many high reviews and ratings, all the audience was attracted to Shoaib Mansoor project, the man who previously made Khuda Ke Lye and which was a super hit.
Despite these setbacks, the film received awesome ratings. Galaxy Lollywood gave a 7.56 out of 10 rating and the highest rating it received was 8.5.
