The “occupy Wall street” protest against the social injustice and inequality which started from the America’ business hub, Wall Street, has now engulfed the five continents of the World.
Millions of protestors in 950 cities of the 82 countries, including American, England, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia and Canada has began demonstrations what organizers called a “global day of action against Wall Street greed” against the social injustice, inequalities, and unending war of terrorism.
The America, who has been in the front row for the last 50 years in human rights activities, has ordered cracked down against the demonstrators after which the police have arrested more than hundred people from the different parts of the country. The organizers of the protests have given a message in a website that this protest was mere a start of the international change that they wanted.
Rioters have taken over the protests in the Rome, a capital city of Italy, where severe clashes has taken place between the police and the marchers. The clashes has sent more than 70 people to hospitals with wounds which also include 30 policemen, and three of the injured are in critical situation, according to the news sources. Protesters shattered many shops, banks and also set up many government buildings and vehicles into fire. Police used force and fired tear gas to disperse the protesters. The streets of Rome were presenting the scenario of battlefield while on the other hand; the Mayor of the city has ordered to close down all the museums.
Millions of other demonstrators of Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and Australia have joined “Occupy Wall Street” protesters, who are still on the road and banging drums and screaming in the middle of the roads. The fire of the protests has also been spread to the streets of the Washington and the New York City after which the Government has ordered to seize the demonstrators. Police has began to prepare the list of the organizers and according to the latest reports, 24 protesters have been arrested in the Seattle and New York City police has seized more than 15 activists.
Yesterday, the thousands of demonstrators, which also included the founder of the Wiki Leaks, Julian Assenge, also occupied the streets of the London. On the other hand, three relies were arranged in Japan. Participants demonstrated in front of the Tokyo Electric Power Company and Foreign ministry and raised voices against the global social injustice and crises of nuclear energy.
People also gathered at roads in the capital of the South Korea, Seoul and expressed their support to the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters. Fifteen hundred people gathered in front of Taiwan Stock Exchange as a part of the “Occupy Taiwan” movement. Thousands of people congregated also in Sydney and Melbourne, which included young, old and children of both genders.
Many other countries of the world faced the riots and cursed the injustice policies of the International Monetary Fund and United States. Forty thousand people seized the Parliament in the Portugal and demanded the government to change their policies to align them with the interests of the poor.
