Right behind the brutal strategies

Pakistan is not only blessed with the five flowing rivers, four seasons and fertile soil for almost all the crops rather its geographic location as well is nothing less of a miracle. The mountain ranges in the north, the Arabian Sea splashing in the south and has neighbors at both ends, a Hindu neighbor and a Muslim neighbor. What else can be more balanced and that also naturally?

One neighbor that sits towards the North and has not been mentioned in the above paragraph is China. Yet another blessing is the friendly ties that Pakistan shares specifically with this particular neighbor. A famous quote says that ‘make friends before you need them’ which holds true for this situation. The relations between the two nations have blossomed over the decades without really being conditional with each other.

China has been acclaimed as the world’s second largest economy after the United States. It is also the world’s fastest-growing major economy with consistent growth rates of around 10% over the last 30 years. GDP by sector for the nation is industry (46.8%), services (43.6%), agriculture (9.6%) (2010 EST.) and comprises of a labor force of 780 million (1st; 2010). The inflation rate in the country is only 4.9% and the unemployment rate is 4.2%.

The main industries include mining and ore processing, iron, steel, aluminum, and other metals, coal; machine building; armaments; textiles and apparel; petroleum; cement; chemicals; fertilizers; consumer products, including footwear, toys, and electronics; food processing; transportation equipment, including automobiles, rail cars and locomotives, ships, and aircraft; telecommunications equipment, commercial space launch vehicles, satellites and the exports have reached US$1.581 trillion (2010). The exported goods include electrical and other machinery, including data processing equipment, apparel, textiles, iron and steel, optical and medical equipment. There is hardly anything that the country does not produce.

How long can it be denied that this progress has been the source of unease for many since a very long time and the entire location is being considered as a potential threat thus only attacking Afghanistan did not really serve the purpose as the recent activities, statements and accusations are reflective of how some want the location to ‘break apart’.

The previous month was just a glimpse of what the world powers are actually capable of when it comes to being manipulative which they almost always are. It is high time to start analyzing things from all dimensions rather than just one.
