Cinepax Preview: Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (December 21, 2011)
Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 5:50:39 by Usman KhalidMission: Impossible has never been so treacherous and hard-hitting. The Impossible Missions Force (IMF) has been shut down with all its active members disavowed due to the bombing of Russian Presidency, the Kremlin. Ethan Hunt and his team are forced to go rogue and get to the bottom of this ordeal and clear their organization’s name.
Paramount Pictures are set to unleash their new instalment to the Mission: Impossible series, the Ghost Protocol, worldwide on December 21. Cinepax will roll the reel on their big screen concurrently.
Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team have been accused of the Kremlin bombing and are summoned by the US President for trial. The IMF is on the precipice of being charged as a terrorist organization and are being shut down to bring the wrong doers to justice, only there is no justice in sight.
The IMF has been framed in the plot to stir-up a worldwide nuclear war. Hunt and company only have one shot to clear their names from the deadly plot and bring the conspirators to justice.
However, the group faces perils in the way. There are moles in the government and Russia as the primary enemy seeking their blood.
The action-packed, full of the graphical gismos, Ghost Protocol is directed by Brad Bird, known for his animated hits like Ratatouille, the Incredibles and Up. However, this is his first motion picture as a director. The story is conceived by JJ Abrams (known for his TV series, Lost), who also directed the prequel, Mission: Impossible III.
Included in the star cast are Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead), Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker), Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible II, III), Paula Patton (Deja Vu) and Bollywood actor/director Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire).
Although a full commentary is subject to its release, sneak-peaks and teasers show high-graphic action sequences. The movie is filmed in IMAX technology so it will definitely create an aura worth spending time in theatres halls.
