Dhoom 3 premiere to launch in 2013

Yash Raj’s action flick Dhoom 3 is delayed to hit the big screen till 2013 due to reasons of production and post-production considerations.  The movie was much anticipated to be released during Christmas in the year 2012. There are some other factors lurking around the delayed release of the Movie and reports show that Salman requested Amir to delay the premiere so that it may not come in clash with Salman’s sequel of Dabangg which was a Box office stellar.

Amir Khan will be seen as a negative character in the movie and opposite to him would be Abhishek Bachan who was seen as a Police officer Jai in Dhoom and Dhoom 2. Uday Chopra will also be a part of the movie in reprise as Ali.  Katrina Kaif will be starring in the movie opposite to Amir Khan.

 Salman did also take into consideration when his request was honoured to postpone his Movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ so that the movie doesn’t come in clash with Amir Khan’s ‘Dhuan’

The production unit expects a lengthy time period of 10-11 months of intense shooting with concurrent post-production which is most likely supporting the fact of delaying the release. The decision was finalized with the consent of producer Aditya Chopra, director Vijay Krishna Acharya and in consultation with the lead actor known as the perfectionist Amir Khan.

 Director Vijay Krishna Acharya stated “‘Dhoom 3? is very dear to all of us as well as to its audience who expect only the best from the franchise. While the shooting will finish in time, we expect the post-production to take much longer. We are trying our best to give one of the finest cinematic experiences to our discerning audience and therefore did not want to compromise the quality of the film just to meet the release date,”

The previous versions of the YRF’s popular action-adventure franchise did splendid job at the box office and earned a huge number of followers and fans internationally and nationally and also set new trends of film-making. Ambiguity has its place that will the movie be able to make it to the top of the charts this time with a paragon Amir Khan’s induction in the franchise or will the movie be disgorged over by the other Banners.
