Diwali is a family time for Ajay Devgn and Kajol

Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Kajol have just returned from their tour of Dubai after a week-long holiday to celebrate the Diwali with their friends and family.

Ajay and Kajol said that it is a family time for them and they want to celebrate this occasion in the proper manner with their friends and relatives.

Ajay talked to the media and stated that Diwali means friends and family coming over, delicious food cooked by his mother named Veena and family get-together.

He discussed that how he will celebrate this occasion. He mentioned that on Diwali morning, they do a small puja that they have been doing since they were children.

Apart from that, he said that it is the one time that his mother Veena expects the complete family to be together, so he decided to keep himself free from all work commitments and will celebrate Diwali with his mother and other relatives.

The Devgns’ complete ‘Juhu bungalow’ will be lit up for Diwali celebration, and in the evening the whole family will go out for dinner along with friends. Diwali is also a time of reminiscence for Bollywood actor.

Ajay went on to mention, “When I was a kid, we lived in Kallomol Estate in Juhu and every year I would celebrate by meeting up with all the other kids in the locality and burst crackers.”

On the other hand, Ajay’s wife Kajol, who is also a part of Indian film industry, has commented that Diwali is obviously special for her and it is an excuse to have a nice party, eat good food and bond with friends and family.

Mrs. Ajay added, “That is the way it was when I was growing up, and it is still the same now that I’m a mother of two. Fortunately, my kids are better informed than I was at their age, so they’ve decided to have a cracker-free Diwali. As a kid, my sister Tanisha and I used to spend Diwali mostly at my mom (Tanuja) and grandmom’s (Shobhana Samarth) place.”

They are very excited for Diwali and waiting for this festival.
