Islamabad police on the go and made the biggest arrest of the month when they arrested 14 outlaws from different areas of the city on 27 October, and recovered narcotics, liquor, weapons and looted items from their possession.
It was a day arrests and bootleggers a plenty were locked behind bars, one of them was residing in G-7/3 Islamabad and upon suspicion police raided the place and recovered 100 bottles of wine from the bootlegger.
Another located at Bhara Kahu was arrested and his arrest led to an increase in the police’s evidence room, as 10 more bottles of wine were recovered from this particular bootlegger.
Similarly, the Sabzi Mandi police on suspicion intercepted a man and during search recovered a 30-bore pistol from him.
Acting on a tip, the Tarnol Police, apprehended two women who were carrying hashish and opium weighing eight and three kilograms respectively.
The Shahzad Town police were busy as well on this bad day for criminal and robbers, as the activity there resulted in arresting a man for his alleged involvement in theft and robbery. The police were able to recover valuables worth Rs150,000 from him.
Similarly, the Shahzad town police also arrested two persons and recovered weapons from them. Three female beggars were apprehended by Women Police under Beggar Act.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rafi Ullah of Bhara Kahu police nabbed two persons identified as Mansoor Akhtar, Shabran and recovered stolen items. ASI Muhammad Yousuf of Margallah police nabbed two identified as Sarfaraz Ahmed; Temur Hussain while ASI Javed

Separate cases were registered against the arrestees under relevant charges with police station concerned and investigations were in progress.
IGP Bani Amin Khan and SSP Mohammad Yousuf Malik appreciated the police officials performance and directed them to intensify vigilance against anti-social elements.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
Shaliamr police nabbed Zahid Iqbal, Mehwish, Rashida, Ayesha, Nazia, Sana, Muskaan Bhatti and Ayesha for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
