Located in the heart of Islamabad F-7 Jinnah Market, Kabul Restaurant is an Afghani traditional cuisine, which offers the most scrumptious food in town. Resided on two floors, the offerings on this restaurant is surely a mouthwatering treat for any food
lover, especially for those who are fed up with their fast food regimes.

 The specialty of the house is their beef afghani boti which certainly freshens your taste buds. Along with their customary offering which is the Kabli Pulao, there is so much for every meat lover. One can order their chicken kabab, chicken boti, or joojeh
kabab, all  of which are yummy. Other than that, mantoo -afghani dumpling like dish filled with minced meat served with yoghurt curry is a stand out commodity which is a must.

Their Afgani Nan also captures your attention, which is a large round flat bread prepared with flour and water and toasted warm on a flat skillet.

It has a spacious dine-in area, where good service and traditional ambience has managed them to make a firm fan following among locals, the Afghans and even the foreigners, who visit the place often.  Also it has an outdoor seating area, for a typical outdoor
barbeque feel (ideal for smokers).

Their Service is timely and considerate with the waiters willingly pleasing your demands with just a simple wave. They make sure that your food is served warm and cater to your every query.

The flipside might the affordability, with a regular dine- in would cost you around 2000 to 2500 Pakistani rupees (three to four persons. Even though it leaves your pocket empty, it certainly fills your belly – might overstuff it.

At the end, don’t forget to try out the all time food digestive organic tea, more famously known as the Afghani kawa, which is served with sugar coated almonds.

Final verdict – if you have not been to this place, then do make an effort because it will certainly liven up your appetite for healthy food. Spending a little more once a month might not be a bad thing after all.
