What was considered to be biggest and high-flying concert of the season turned into a complete fiasco when the organizers of the American heavy metal band Metallica postponed the gig which was scheduled on Friday in New Delhi, India.

some of the people were injured in a stampede at the venue.
The American band Metallica was very disappointed with the chaos and declared in a statement late on Friday that they were excited to have their first ever concert in India. “We are deeply disappointed with this news as we were looking forward to our first
experience in India as much as you guys were,”
While the occurrence of the concert on Saturday evening is highly doubted after the crowd smashed almost everything at the venue, the organizers DNA Networks didn’t gave a particular reasons of rescheduling the gig.
Some fans, who were present at the venue, stated that postponement of the concert was due to broken equipment and the organizers were unable to get it fixed. "One of the front barricades was broken about 5pm. They tried to fix it for more than an hour. Then
they announced that the show was being postponed,"
According to a second report, the band was not satisfied with the backstage arrangements and they left just before the time of the concert.
The concert was part of the Formula One Grand Prix which is taking place this weekend.
