Lahore, October 31: Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), through a huge gathering of thousands passionate people at the historical place of Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday, showed clearly that where the balance of power
rests at the moment in Lahore, which is the heart and political hub of Punjab.
On the voice of Imran, thousands people from all over Pakistan, left their homes to join him in his movement to liberate the country from the tyranny of the corrupt politicians and status quo. More than two hundred thousand people were present there at the
venue and the equal number of people listened the Imran’s address by staying outside the venue on the roads.
Many experts say that this procession has shaken the boat of Pakistan Muslim League (N) which is the biggest party in Punjab and has deep roots in Lahore. The growing followers from all over the country is also an alarming indication to the Pakistan People’s
Party (PPP) that their rule is on the verge of decline.
Besides Imran, the other speakers of PTI were Naeem ul Haq, Fauzia Kasuri, Mehmood ur Rasheed, Mian Azhar, Dr Murad Baloch, Dr Arif Alvi, Dr Yasmin Rashid and Ejaz Chaudhary. All these people addressed to the huge crowd which came from every corner of the
country indicating that change has become the requirement of the nation.
The PTI Chairman gave a direction to the youth of Pakistan by pin pointing the bad policies of the so-called traditional politicians of the country. He emphasized on the new system which should be based on equality, justice and fair play, impartiality and
nationalism.
Imran talked about many issues a layman is facing at the moment. He highlighted all major problems of the downtrodden classes which are being neglected by the ruling elite. He gave a ray of hope to the youth of Pakistan and realised them their real power.
Almost 80 percent of the gathering was comprised on the young males and females which indicate the future of Pakistan is standing behind Imran, who always talks about liberation from all bad policies which are affecting the people of this country.
