Khan’s political presence hopes for change in Pakistan
Monday, October 31st, 2011 10:36:44 by Asad NazirUndoubtedly, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chairman, Imran Khan has become the most popular leader of Pakistan, as most of the youth is supporting him passionately ahead of upcoming elections.
Considering Imran’s agenda, the Pakistani nation started believing that he is the only hope left for the country, as they have been giving chances to old faces for the past 20 years.
It is generally perceived that Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) have done with their role in the country.
Both the parties have always disappointed the nation, as they did not bring change in the country despite earning opportunities..
Apart from perception, the facts and figures also do not support PPP and PML-N, which compel people to think over change.
In the present scenario, the Pakistani nation is considering Imran Khan as a hope to safe the country.
Yesterday, the cricketer turned politician put his agenda in front of everyone during his meeting with the nation at Minar-i-Pakistan in Lahore.
Categorically, he challenged Pakistan’s president, Asif Ali Zardari and head of PML-N, Nawaz Sharif to take over them.
In meantime, Imran Khan also raised his voice against corruption and disorder system of Pakistan.
The main clauses of his agenda are: eliminate corruption from the society, prompt education and health, free and immediate justice to everyone, change the existing police system to make sure law and order, eradicate Patwari culture
to make sure transparency in real estate.
Furthermore, he also announced to have friendly relationship with the other countries, however, denied to obey the American polices.
PTI’s chairman went on to state that if his party came in power, they would not use the country’s army against the Pakistani nation.
He also criticised US drone attacks in the terrible and northern areas of Pakistan against innocent natives, saying that PTI’s government would have dialogue with the people of these regions, which might ultimately abolish terrorism.
Despite having different political opinion, Imran Khan has excellent agenda to change the system.
But question is that: Can he implement his agenda after coming in power? Can he persist with policies regardless of US pressure? What road map he has in order to execute his memo.
May Allah Almighty give Imran Khan Courage to fulfill his supporters’ desires and hopes.
