Four more people fall prey to dengue in Lahore, death toll surges 327

 

 

According to research reports from the public and private hospitals, four more citizens succumbed to dengue in Lahore, on Monday, October 31. The total death toll due to dengue pandemic has increased from 323 to 327 in the provincial capital.

The dengue victim, Muhammad Ramzan, a resident of Baghbanpura died in the Services Hospital. In the meantime, Shamim Bibi of Jia Bagga, Waqas of Manga Mandi and Sarwar Saeed of Chungi Amar Sadhu lost the battle against dengue fever at Jinnah Hospital during
the last 24 hours, in Lahore.

According to reports from the various hospitals and healthcare centres, more or less 125 had been reported in the metropolitan area. In addition, several dengue patients had been tested positive in various public and private hospitals, laboratories and healthcare
centres from corner to corner the Punjab, including Faisalabad, Nishtar Hospital, Multan, Gujranwala and many others.

As many as ten new dengue patients had been tested positive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, sixty nine dengue patients had been cured and released from the Mayo Hospital. Five dengue patients had been recovered
and discharged from the LGH and twenty nine from the Services Hospital. Two dengue patients were recovered and released from the Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital and fifty five from the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

In addition, four dengue victims had been cured and discharged from the Children’s Hospital, two from the Nawaz Sharif Yakki Gate and five from the Saidmetha Hospital. Overall, 193 dengue patients had been recovered and discharged from the various public
and private healthcare centres and hospital, on Monday.

According to research findings from various hospitals and healthcare centres, around about 19,672 dengue patients had been restore to health and released from various private and public hospitals in Punjab. More importantly, 16,761 dengue patients had been
cured and discharged from Lahore alone.

More or less 87 new dengue cases had been reported in Punjab, on Monday. Almost 49 dengue patients were tested positive in Lahore alone. Approximately 19,975 dengue cases had been reported in the province, of whom, 16,814 dengue patients belonged to Lahore
alone.
