1. Introduction
Human body is sensitive to both the sociological and environmental circumstances. For that reason, the element of pain is hundred percent involved in both our societal as well as natural circumstances. When we talk about the pain, it can be generally defined
as a repulsive condition that will be interlinked to the damage of the human body. As a matter of fact, pain can be comprised of many forms, such as – neck pain, back pain, headache, arthritis, menstrual pain, bone fracture, muscle sprain, acute appendicitis,
heart throbbing, malignant pain and chest pain. One thing needs to be understood about the pain that it is does have acute and chronic nature always.
At the present time, hundreds of thousands of people are suffering from a wide range of pain syndromes throughout the world. In reality, there are several types of pain causes and symptoms, including – stress, injuries, genetic, high blood pressure, diabetes,
cancer, trauma, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back throbbing, low back surgery, strokes and herpetic infection. So, does anyone of you know about the perfect pain therapy? Are you suffering from an acute and chronic pain? Do you want to reduce
your pain? Well all a person has to do is to conduct a therapeutic touch in order to release his or her pain.
In essence, Therapeutic Touch (TT) is considered to be one of the most reliable pain therapies in the sphere of the recent times. It does have a unique and widespread history. Aesthetically speaking, therapeutic touch was discovered by renowned therapists
Dolores Kreiger, Emerita and Dora Kunz during the period of 1970s, in Europe. Dora Kunz and Dolores Krieger (2004) stated:
“As the TT therapist’s hands come near an affected area, she feels a sudden cue that gives her a sense where the pain is. Then the therapist thinks of the universal healing energy permeating that area of the body. Most frequently, this helps the patient’s
body to absorb the energy need to deal with the pain.” (Kunz and Krieger p 40, 2004)
The healing is based on the hypothesis that human body is made of energy and that syndrome is a clause of energy deficiency. The researches have shown to us that therapeutic touch can be a useful treatment for mitigating our pains, throbbing and even malignant
syndromes to a great extent. For that reason, therapeutic touch is being regularly taught by many TT experts as a certified course in many institutions of both the United States and United Kingdom nowadays.
