Interesting facts about Pakistan!

  • Pakistan has the second largest Muslim population in the world. It is second to Indonesia.
  • About one fifth of the population lives below the international poverty line (US$1.25 per day).
  • More than 60 languages are spoken in Pakistan. English is the official language of Pakistan and is used in government while Urdu is our national language.
  • 96% of the population is Muslims. Just over 1.5% is Christians.
  • Pakistan has the sixth largest military force in the world.
  • Despite once being called the world’s most dangerous country in a British magazine (The Economist), the tourism industry is growing in Pakistan.

Dilemma:

Despite all these fascinating facts and mesmerizing sceneries, our country is sunk deep in miserable conditions. We are responsible for all this!

If our leaders never accepted the slavery of America in 1950’s, Pakistan would have been one of the most enriched and developed countries of the world.
