Apple to reshape its top-shelf products on 2012

When it comes to launches and new additions, Apple, Inc. is both, the most predictable and vice versa of the very idea, concurrently.

It is written in stone that this IT giant launches new versions of its top earning product line; iPhone, iPod, iPad, iMac and Macbook Pro and Air, every year. However, what will be under the hood has always been a top secret until the product is on the shelves.

Some unarguably authentic sources have revealed that the company is planning on releasing the aforesaid brands with massive upgrades in 2012. However, the same sources have touted that iPad and iPhone will be more than upgraded. It is believed that these
brands will be totally reshaped like the iPhone 4 after 3GS.

Keeping its history in mind, the new iPad is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year. However, there have been speculations that the tablet will be divided into two categories altogether.

The one that the company will throw into the market presumably in March, will have subtle tweaks to its chemistry. The March launch is tipped to as iPad HD or iPad 2 HD as it will incorporate the 1080p HD technology, and if iPhone 4S can have it, why not
the iPad.

Apple has been asking its manufacturers and engineers to develop two prototypes for each suggested design.

The second iPad will be in the market no sooner than December 2012. However, it is expected to reshape the product much like the product shaped the tablet market when it was launched for the first time in 2010.

The next product in focus is the Macbook Air. The company is in the process of producing an engineering spectacle that will be super thin in design. It is expected that new super slim laptop might also include an optical drive. Then it is doubtful whether
it falls under the roof of Macbook Pro or Air.

Due to newest slim laptops released from Dell and Asus, the company is experiencing cut-throat competition in the consumer market. These products, like Asus’ new Zenbook, are extremely thin and cheap in prices. Therefore, oomph of the Macbook Air line is
fading to extreme levels.

However, whether the new instalments are mere tweaks to existing models or are entirely reshaped versions, they are surely going to be attractive as all Apple products have been in the past.
