Daniel Craig returns in the role of 007 for James Bond series forthcoming film Skyfall.

Michael G. Wilson has announced Daniel Craig returning to the role of the agent 007 in the James Bond series forthcoming film, Skyfall.  Skyfall will be the 23^rd film of the James
Bond series. 

Skyfall will be Craig’s third film in the role of British superspy.  He made his debut in Casino Royale, (released in 2006) and followed it with his breathtaking performance in Quantum of Solace,
which was released in 2008.

Besides announcing the cast, Wilson confirmed the start of filming of Skyfall.  Earlier the project was delayed due to number of factors, ranging from MGM’s bankruptcy to uncertainty pertaining
to selection of an individual as agent 007.

Daniel Craig has expressed his excitement for his role in the Skyfall.  The Javier Bardem will join Craig as Bond’s nemesis.

In addition to Craig and Bardem, Judi Dench will mark his return in the role of spy chief M.  French performer Berenice Marlohe and English actress Naomie Harris are the two new bond girls.
Harris is casted in the role of field agent while Marlohe is selected for the glamorous and enigmatic character.

Besides this, British actors Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw are also confirmed in the cast of the firm. However, the roles of the trio have not been announced yet.

Academy Award winner, Sam Mendes is announced as the director of the upcoming Bond series film.  Mendes won the Academy Award in 1999 for the movie titled, American Beauty.  

In replying to a question related to the plot of the movie, Mendes termed the movie as full of surprises. He added, “I think this has all the elements of a classic Bond movie, including — to
quell any rumors — a lot of action.”

Wilson has denied the reports of cutting down the film’s budget. He confirmed that the film’s proposed budget is $200 Million.  The film will be shot in shot in England (London’s government
district of Whitehall and Pinewood Studios outside London), Scotland (Scottish wilderness), and on a location at Istanbul (Turkey) and Shanghai (China).

 The film is scheduled to be released in 2012.
