Eddie Murphy quits as Oscar host after Brett Ratner’s resignation

Ratner’s resignation.
Brett Ratner was in the Oscar’s management as the producer, but due to some anti-gay comments he resigned from his post.
While responding to the question of how well did Ratner worked as a creative director and producer, whose work also includes X-Men, The Last Stand, Tower Heist said, " made the offending anti-gay comment at a discussion about. "
Eddie Murphy’s departure has left the organization in the last three scrambling months before the award season begins.
Tom Sherak who is the president of the Motion Pictures Arts and Science announced Eddie Murphy’s relinquishment.
Tom Sherak said,”I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well,"
While giving an Oscar statement Eddie Murphy said, "First and foremost, I want to say that I completely understand and support each party’s decision with regard to a change of producers for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.
He aforementioned that, “I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I’m sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job."
No replacement has been announced yet but the two amazing performers have left the Oscars right before the climax of the award season.
In the previous Oscars of year 2011 Anne Hathaway and James Franco were the co hosts, after quitting Eddie Murphy came up with Tinsel Town’s name as a host.
At the time he was chosen, Murphy, who gained fame on TV show Saturday Night Live in the early 1980s before breaking onto the big screen, said he was looking forward to the gig.
"I am enormously honored to join the great list of past Academy Award hosts, from (Bob) Hope and (Johnny) Carson to (Billy) Crystal, (Steve) Martin and (Whoopi) Goldberg, among others," he said.
The curtains for the 84th Academy Award will be raised on the 26th of February 2012, the fortunate stars and creative people will take home the golden statue.
