No doubt, education certainly is a powerful tool that shapes how an individual reacts to essential and basic differences of opinions and beliefs while it also give confidence broad-mindedness and ability to solve one’s problems, but it can also promote derision
and hatred among those who accept the very idea of liberalism and learning despite any creed and cast or most importantly religion.

In Pakistan, especially in schools, we observe some unconstructiveness along with little negativity toward religious minorities, who profoundly objects   pessimistic intention for religious freedom and security.

These all aspects and the characteristics of society has discussed in a new study named “Connecting the Dots: Education and Religious Discrimination in Pakistan” is released by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), and conducted
by the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD), a think tank based in Washington, D.C.

Leonard Leo, USCIRF chair told the media regarding this study. He said, “This study – the first-ever study of its kind — documents how Pakistan’s public schools and privately-run madrassas are not teaching tolerance but are exacerbating religious differences,”

This study is very interesting and at the same time extremely thought provoking for two reasons. First it gives you and provides you the thinking material to explore linkages between the portrayals of religious minorities in many public schools and secondly
emphasises on the biases against all the minorities including Hindus, and Christians.
