Bahrian Team and its defence

Bahria University’s team has been in great form recently. Despite the losses against Beaconhouse Margalla Campus and Karakoram International University, they have shown that they have the capacity to become one of the best teams in Islamabad.
One of the main reasons why Bahria University is considered to be a force on the pitch is because of their brilliant defence.
Bahrians have recruited brilliant defenders this semester and with the inclusion of a few players, they are now one of the best defensive sides in the game.
Their first choice goalkeeper, Nahyan Shahzada is simply too hard to beat. Moreover, with such a strong defensive set-up, it is hard to score against the Bahrians.
Last semester Bahrians welcomed the arrival of Talha Nadeem. Talha has the experience which is required to perform in a big team. The third semester full back has played in a lot of clubs and he managed to hit his peak while playing for his college side
– The City School.
The City School, back then, was a force to reckon in college football. They were one of the best sides in Islamabad and they managed to win a lot of tournaments when Talha Nadeem was playing for their team.
Talha is now playing for Bahria University and he has always performed brilliantly for them.
While Talha has what is required to play in the right back position, Ihtisham provides the team with the same brilliance in the left back position. Ihtisham has been brilliant in the left back role.
He is simply brilliant at not only defending but also while moving forward and aiding the team in the attack. He has all that it takes to become a left back and his inclusion in the team only strengthens the defence.
Last semester, Bahrians played Zohaib and Musa Khan in the centre back positions. Even though Musa is originally a holding midfielder, he is able to play in the centre back position. He has managed to become a first choice centre back for the Bahrians and
he has managed to shine in all the games in which he has played.
Despite Zohaib being a success in the Bahrian team, they have decided to opt for a new (and better) centre back, Abbas Qasmi. Abbas Qasmi has simply shown how brilliant he is in the centre back position. He and Musa form a deadly partnership in the centre
back role and they are “almost” impossible to beat.
To aid this defensive set-up, Bahrians play a two man midfield in which they have a holding midfielder. Bilal or Naeem play in the holding midfield position and whoever plays in that role tracks back to help the team in the defence.
With these players in the defence, the Bahrian team is simply phenomenal. The former captain, Musa Khan, has shown that he is one of the players who can adapt to any position and Faizan Sameer never takes chances at the back and that is the basic reason
why Musa is not fielded in the holding midfield role.
