Prime Minister approves the promotion of Information Service and Postal Group’s senior bureaucrats.

Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has approved the promotion of the senior bureaucrats of the country. Prime Minister made the final decision on the promotion of the concerned officers in lieu of the recommendations
of the Central Selection Board.

The official notification of the promotion of the concerned officer has been released on Sunday, November 13.   15 officers belonging to the Postal Group and Information Service Group of the Pakistan have been promoted to the next grade.  The officers who
received promotion to the next grade are currently working in BS 19 and BS 20 scale.

The list includes eight officers from the Postal Group while the remaining seven belong to the Information Services Group of Pakistan.  Mrs. Saba Mohsin Raza of the Information Service is the only female officer in the list of the 15 officers.

Two out of the 15 officers promoted today have been given a BS 21 scale. These candidates belong to the Postal Group of Pakistan.  The remaining thirteen officers received a promotion from BS 19 – BS 20 scale, which includes six officers from Postal Group
and seven officers from Information Service.

The candidates of the Information Service promoted from BS 19 to BS 20 scale include Mr. Muhammad Tariq (BS-19 to BS-20), Mrs. Saba Mohsin Raza (BS-19 to BS-20),  Mr. Tehsin Ali Khan(BS-19 to BS-20), Mr. Sheraz Latif (BS-19 to BS-20),  Raja Muhammad Farooq
Khan (BS-19 to BS-20), Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Dahar (BS-19 to BS-20) and Mr. Maqbool Hussain Shah (BS-19 to BS-20).

Mr. Fakir Syed Shaharyaruddin and Mr. Amjad Aftab Siddiqui of the Postal Group have been promoted to the BS 21. The remaining six candidates of the Postal Group are promoted into the BS 20 scale.  The candidates of the Postal Group receiving a promotion
from BS 19 to BS 20 scale include the names of  Mr. S. Mobin Iqbal (BS-19 to BS-20) Mr. Nasir Hassan (BS-19 to BS-20), Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mahindro (BS-19 to BS-20), Mr. Jamal Khan Mandokhel (BS-19 to BS-20), Mr. Haq Nawaz (BS-19 to BS-20) and Dr. Naseer Ahmed
Khan( BS-19 to BS-20).
