Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Rock Star’ reaches sky
Monday, November 14th, 2011 9:53:09 by Asad NazirBollywood star, Ranbir Kapoor, who performed his role tremendously in a movie Rock Star recently, has stated that he believes on hard work which has always been helping him to give outstanding movies to the industry.
While commenting over his recent movie, Rock Star, the versatile actor was optimistic that the film would keep attracting the audience to watch it in the forthcoming days.
"I have faith in myself and I work very hard, but let’s wait and see whether the film holds audience interest beyond the weekend or falls on Monday. It is the curiosity that brings people into a film initially, (but) it is the
longevity of a film that matters eventually," Ranbir told to the reporters.
The stylish actor added that they had always tried to give quality movies which entertain the viewers.
"We are trying to impress an entire nation of moviegoers which means we need a good wholesome, entertaining film…and it must engage everyone in totality, be it small town or metro," he added in same interview.
Meanwhile, the leading director of the Indian film industry, Karan Johar also admired Kapoor’s acting, and termed him as a talented actor.
"Ranbir has a superstar presence and has chosen path breaking roles. He has the combination of acting brilliance and cinema presence and he can only rise and rise," Karan said while talking to the media.
On the other hand, director of Rock Star, Imtiaz Ali seemed satisfied with the success of his movie, as he wants every distributor to get benefit from this block blaster hit.
"It is commerce and money that supports this industry. And it is the breeze of good wishes from the small sub distributors that works," Ali shared his views with the media.
In the meanwhile, the producer of Ranbir’s upcoming movie, Barfee, Ronnie Screwvala, who is also the chairman of UTV, appreciated the progressing of Ranbir’s film career.
"Ranbir has displayed a versatility in his first five movies which only his grandfather (Raj Kapoor) has done till date. Our industry is full of iconic actors and Ranbir is already through into the door of the Hall of Fame," he
said.
