Emraan Hashmi feels Naseeruddin Shah is the boldest in ‘The Dirty Picture’

Bollywood’s ‘serial kisser’ Emraan Hashmi has revealed that veteran actor and co-star Naseeruddin Shah took away his mantle of bold in their much-anticipated upcoming film ‘The Dirty Picture’, which is
based on late Vijaylakshami’s life-style, who was considered as a sex icon and was more commonly known as Silk Smitha.

Emraan Hashmi is renowned for his bold performances yet he thinks this time it is Naseeruddin Shah who has got bolder and dirtier.

Emraan told the media he has played his role with the full of his confidence but on the same note the Bollywood star admitted it was Shah who impressed him the most and shattered a bit of his confidence.

"As far as the bold quotient goes…I am doing my own bold stuff but Naseer is the boldest in the film. I think he has taken all my mantle in the film and he is doing what I use to normally do in films,"
Emraan, who earned the ‘serial kisser’ tag after Anurag Basu’s ‘Murder’, told PTI.

Emraan added, “They cross paths as they are in the same industry. Naseer is an actor, Tusshar is a struggling writer, Vidya is an actress. As you are being part of same industry so you end up meeting people."

Many out there thought Emraan should have given the role of a director for the Milan Luthria-directed movie. However, Emraan disagrees with the fact, as he claimed a picture like this would have not been
made without him.

"Everyone…everything is dirty in this film. It is the dirtiest film I have done. You cannot make a dirty picture without Emraan Hashmi," he said.

Emraan stated this is the dirtiest movie of his career thus far and insisted there is a pretty bold language used in the film. Though Emraan admitted some people might take it as an offense, he stressed
the language used has not crossed the line into vulgarity, as he reckons vulgarity is always subjective.

The Dirty Picture is due for release on December 2, 2011 on the birth anniversary of Smitha and Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Karpoor along with Emraan Hashmi will be seen playing lead roles.
