Reema Khan to tie knot with a cardiac surgeon on November 18

The glittering Lollywood superstar, Miss Reema Khan has finally decided to change her marital status from single to married.

The spokesperson of Reema confirmed to the media that Pakistan film industry beauty queen is all set to get married to a renowned Cardiac surgeon of America Dr Shahab on Friday, November 18.

Nowadays the Golden Girl of Pakistan film industry is in USA with her parents and according to her spokesperson all ceremonies of the wedding will be held in America. The Mayon and Nikah ceremony are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 15 while
the traditional Mehndi function will be on November 17. The Rukhsati will take place on Friday November 18. Around 300 guests have been invited in the ceremony. The actress-cum director will stay in America for few weeks after her marriage.

In the meanwhile, Dr Shahab has said that he has no problem if his better-half to be wanted to invite media persons in the wedding ceremony.

 Dr Taariq Shahab did his MBBS from Dow Medical College University, Karachi and then went to USA for further training in cardiovascular diseases. He did his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He was awarded
the Outstanding Resident of the year Award at Michigan and was offered the position of Chief Medical Resident.

Born on October 27, 1971 in Lahore, Reema started her film career in 1990 when she was offered a supporting role in Pakistan film director Javed Fazil’s Urdu movie, Bulandi. Her early films include Zherilay, Ishq, Naag Devta, Pyar hi pyar, Sailab, Dil, Aag, Shama and Sahiba.

Koi Tujh Sa Kahan was Remma’s first film as a director and producer. She also starred in that movie with Moammar Rana. The movie was released in Pakistan and overseas and it went on to win the Lux Style Award for Best Film in 2006.

The actress-cum-director of Pakistan was the first ever Lollywood actress to be signed by the Pepsi Co. Of Pakistan for a series of advertisements.
