Shah Mehmood Qureshi will bring tons of political experience, says PTI chairman Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan, recently revealed in an interview that Shah Mehmood Qureshi will certainly be a perfect addition should he join PTI in the coming days.

He stressed that Qureshi will bring tons of political experience and a vote bank, which the party lacked. He further asserted that people like Mian Azhar and Qureshi are honest politicians and nobody could really accuse them of corruption.

However, he also admitted that in Pakistan, it is near to impossible to get anyone, who has a clean record. “You can’t find angels in Pakistan but we will get relatively better stock of politicians in the PTI”, he added.

PTI chairman then went on to stress that financial corruption is the root of problems in Pakistan and his campaign is to declare true assets of every politician. “If you can get rid of corruption, you can make Pakistan viable”, he added.

He further said that only a clean government would be able to bring all the laundered money back to Pakistan and stressed that PTI will be capable of doing it.

“I earned abroad, but my money is in Pakistan and declared and in my name, however, the only reason that their (Zardari and Nawaz) assets are all outside Pakistan is because they made their money by plundering Pakistan”, Imran alleged.

With the PTI chief making such strong statements, it seems evident that should he come in power after the upcoming general elections, he will certainly bring a much-needed and positive change in Pakistan.
