Sea View bomb blast: Two suspect turn out to be Karachi boys

The police have identified two of the five suspected terrorists involved in the Sea View bomb blast as Karachi residents named Shoibur Rehman and Attiqur Rehman.

According to SP Mazhar Mashwani, the CID official, the tow Karachi boys were aged between 22 and 25 years. In the mean time, the Hyderabad police had their own revelation to make. 

Police unleashed after investigating the suspects who had owned it periodically since 2005 that the vehicle which the terrorists used for the activity had passed through many hands ahead of terrible incident.

It has been revealed during the investigations that the vehicle passed through three other people in Hyderabad ahead of being sold to a party in Badin. During the subsequent raids, police arrested Shahmeer Qureshi, Muhammad Javed and Bashir Ahmed Durrani
for possession of vehicle.

After the bomb blast in Karachi, Police had arrested five people during the late night operation. However, they all were set free after they were not found guilty.

The vehicle that was used in Karachi bomb blast was made by Suzuki motors, a hi-roof was owned by Maqbool Khokhar who was the resident of Khokhar Mohala near Law College Hyderabad. The city DSP named Ahmed Qureshi arrested Maqbool and his son Bilal from
their house at 1:30 am on Thursday.

The DSP Ahmed said that the police could not find any proof accusing the four people and after waiting for orders from Karachi, they set free all four accused people.

No Woman bomber

DNA test results unleashed that the remains of the bodies of suicide bombers indicate that there was no woman included in the suicide attack. Earlier it was assumed on the basis of some evidences like smaller feet found on the spot and light brown hair attached
to a piece of scalp indicated a woman might have been involved in the suicide attack.  

Moreover, A CID SP guessed that the actual target was Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine as the ghussal ceremony (washing of the saint’s grave) was scheduled to be held at midnight on the day of incidence.

Police surgeon Dr. Hamid Parhyar confirmed that no one was died by bullets but with the bomb blast as ball bearings were found in the dead bodies.
