German foreign minister appreciates Pakistan’s commitment to fighting terrorism in Afghanistan

with Pakistan in Afghanistan after Hina Rabbani Khar made it clear in her latest statement that Pakistan did not have a secret agenda to keep Afghanistan unstable and make life harder for foreign forces in the war –torn country.
German’s foreign minister arrived in Pakistan this week to prepare for the upcoming conference and held a meeting with the Pakistani foreign minister Miss Khar to sort out the differences between the two countries. He said in his
comments to the media, “I welcome the clear commitment by Pakistan that it has no hidden agenda in Afghanistan. We have to work together because stability in Afghanistan is in our interest and in the interest of the world,” he said. The commitment of the German
government and the international community is crystal clear —we will not forget Afghanistan and this region”.
NATO troops are set to move out of Afghanistan by the end of 2014 and the Western forces are looking for a clean exit from the country after their troubled battle with the Taliban as well as Al-Qaeda in the central Asian nation.
German foreign minister also held talks with the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, General Ashfaq Kiani to coordinate the stance on Afghanistan of the respective countries.
Pakistan’s foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar also spoke to the media in the press conference and said, “Pakistan has no hidden agenda for pursuit of peace in Afghanistan and in the region, we want a stable and peaceful government
in Afghanistan which allows us to function peacefully”.
