Bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan believes Priyanka has no comparison

Bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan believes that Indian film actress Priyanka Chopra has no competition in being the perfect Indian pop icon.

“I think she is talented — she can act well, dance well and speak well. She is also a wonderful-looking multifaceted performer. I will be shocked if it (Priyanka’s cross-over success) doesn’t happen. However, she has to do it with
ease and happiness” commented SRK.

Priyanka had signed a worldwide recording agreement with Universal Music and Desi Hits, in August 2011, to record and release her first music Album. The actor-singer is a trained western classical singer. Her album, which contains
ten top songs, will be released worldwide in 2012 with Desi Hits through Interscope Records. She is currently busy in writing and recording an English Album.

“I am tone deaf and don’t understand music, but I’ve heard Priyanka and a part of what she’s done. She has a great voice and I believe she can be a huge international crossover,” King Khan added.

He also encouraged that Desi Girl should carry on with her acting career as well, as it will set a trend for new comers. Priyanka is perhaps first actor-singer, who received great appreciation from a top actor like King Khan.

Other than acting and singing, Priyanka also serves as a host for the TV shows, as currently she is hosting Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 3. Earlier, the famous Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had hosted the previous first two seasons
of the show. She started her career with modeling and soon earned a great name after becoming Miss World in 2000.

She made her film debut in 2002 with Tamil film Thamizan. Owing to her remarkable performance, she got a chance to work in Bollywood and made her debut with ‘The Hero: Love Story of Spy followed by big hit Andaaz, for which she
won a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. She continued entertaining her fans, with her eye-catching performance and became the second woman to win the Filmfare Best Villian Award for the film Aitraz.

Her upcoming big hit Don:2 The Chase Continues will be released on December 23, 2011.
