‘Garam Masala boys’ John Abraham and Akshay Kumar ready to go Desi

After a successful venture with Priyadarshan in 2005, both, Johan Abraham and Akshay Kumar have come back with yet another exciting episode of
comedy and romance. Having previously worked together in Priyadarshan’s Garam Masala, the duo have now gone Desi and are about to come up with their new flick, Desi Boys.

The film is expected to do even better business than Garam Masala and could prove to be one of the hits this year. With the films like Mausam and RA One, not doing well on the big screen, the audiences are certainly looking forward to this exciting production.

Desi Boys has been directed by debutant Rohit Dhawan, the son of famous director, David Dhawan. The lead cast includes Akshay Kumar as ‘Jerry’, John Abraham as ‘Nick’, Deepika Padukone as ‘Radhika’ and Chitrangda Singh as ‘Tanya’.

The plot revolves around Nick and Jerry who land in UK to proceed with their studies at Oxford University.  At first, the two of them enjoy best days of their life with Nick working in a bank while Jerry making fool of his rich pal, brings up his nephew
and romances her teacher, Tanya.

Both the students are aware of each other’s traits and keep on helping one another in the best possible manner. John also has a fiancée to take care of in the form of Radhika and his job is sufficient enough to allow him to do so.

As the story proceeds further, both guys fall in different kinds of trouble and initially find no way out before meeting Sanjay Dutt. Dutt is playing the owner of a popular strip-club and recruits Jerry and Nick as sexy pole-dancers.

With the passage of time, the best friends become bitter enemies and invite troubles for each other.

How does the duo get out of this and bring their life back to normal is what the movie is all about. Desi Boys is expected to attract decent number of audiences and could give competition to the upcoming flicks like Don 2 and Dirty Picture.

The music of this film has been compiled by Pritam and all of its songs have already become popular amongst the youngsters and teenagers. ‘Tu Mera Hero’ and ‘Jhak Mar Kay’ are already being played in most of the bars and restaurants and keeping in mind the
popularity of its music, the film is also tipped to do well on the charts.
