Quratulain Baloch – New singing sensation!

New singing sensation of Pakistan, Quratulain Baloch is famous all across Pakistan for her outstanding voice. She was born in Iran and Raised in Pakistan, moved to USA for higher studies and now back in Pakistan doing some extra ordinary music with Saad
Sultan.

She is a graduate student of Multimedia. QB (Quratulain Balouch) is well known for her cover ‘Ankhian Nu Rein Dey‘, has stepped into the Pakistan music industry after her appearance in the most prestigious singing platform, COKE STUDIO. It all started
for QB from Coke Studio and now she is working on her first album that is due to be launched by the end of this year.

She recently came back to Pakistan from USA after completing her education, and has collaborated with Khawar Jawad, Saad Sultan, Goher Mumtaz for the launch of her first album. Her title cover for the drama serial ‘Humsafar’ is mesmerizing and she rocked
the world of music with that breakthrough. Her partnership with Khawar Jawad in the song ‘Peera’ was so successful and anyone who listens to her songs, loves her voice.

QB has been awarded Pakistan Youngest Achievement Award in UK and she was extremely delighted on her achievement was approached for the Pakistan Youngest Achievement Award UK and Europe 2011 and was thrilled to get an award that is recognised internationally.
People in London love Pakistani music and appreciate it to the fullest.

Meanwhile, speaking on her singing style, QB adds that she hopes to maintain her own unique personality, adding that not being a classical singer, despite having a classical voice, allows her to better identify with the people. “I find it hard to completely
change the overall image of being traditional because of my voice, although I agree my music is totally different from how I present myself, I’d rather keep it natural than make alterations in my appearance,” states the 23-year-old.

She stated that industry was in decline but she wants to save the sinking ship and bring it up to the same standards as it was before in early 80’s and 90’s. She has reached such fame which singers take years to achieve and I hope she continues in the same
fashion so that we are not deprived of such an amazing voice.
