Deepika Padukone desires to work with Himesh Reshammiya

After showing sizzling chemistry with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham in her upcoming movie ‘Desi Boyz’, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone wants to work with Singer-Actor-filmmaker Himesh Reshammiya.

Recently, Deepika told the trade analyst Komal Nahta on the show ETC Bollywood Business that she desire to do movie with Himesh Reshammiya. Deepika also gives credit to Himesh for the success she has achieved today.

She made first music videos with Himesh’s ‘Naam hai tera’ after which Farah Khan signed Deepika in her movie ‘Om Shakti Om’ where she first time worked with Shahrukh Khan.

The Bollywood actress told the media that she got first movie two years before ‘Om Shanti Om’. After starting her career, The 25-year-old, Deepika also participated in several commercial potboilers.  

She said, “I had decided, I would never do two things; firstly work in a music video and secondly participate for Miss. India. However, I accepted Himesh Reshamiya’s ‘Naam hai tera” album, as Himesh’s songs were a rage at that time. Farah Khan noticed me
in that video and casted me for ‘Om Shanti Om.’”

Deepika is one of the fittest actresses in the Bollywood industry but still she does not believe in starving herself. In fact, she does not believing in dieting.

She said, "I love food. I love trying out different types of cuisine. I love eating in different kinds of restaurants, trying out new things and I think I have the luxury to do that because I travel a lot."

She also clarified her catfight rumors over a pink dress with Chitrangada, telling that there was no pink dress in the movie. Deepika added that, when she reached London for shoot, Chitrangda had already completed with her scenes and even their overall looks
in film are completely different.

In her upcoming movie, Akshay Kumar and Deepika share a love-hate relationship which the actress says it was too tricky considering her fondness for the actor. In ‘Desi Boyz’ she is paired with John Abraham while Akshay is romancing with Chitrangda.

Recently, she is busy in promoting her new movie and she will next be seen in `Cocktail` and `Race2`.
