Pakistani Prime Minister, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has asserted that Pakistan will continue to support the cause of Kashmir at diplomatic, political and moral levels aimed at resolving the issue according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
The Pakistani PM was talking to Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, and Minister for Local Government Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, at the PM House in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Gilani said he would visit Muzaffarabad to lay foundation-stone of the Muzaffarabad-Lower Topa Duel Carriageway, which will prove as a great source of safety, comfort and convenience for the people travelling from and to the capital of the
state.
The AJK prime minister thanked Prime Minister Gilani for visiting Azad Kashmir where he inaugurated a number of important projects like Mangla Dam raising project, announced to set up Mir Waiz Muhammad Farooq Shaheed medical college in Muzaffarabad and the
Cadet College Dadiyal, inaugurated Al-Shifa Trust Hospital, and announced establishment of an IT University in Mirpur.
The AJK Prime Minister said the Kashmiris living in the United Kingdom, across the Line of Control and Azad Kashmir were delighted on these futuristic projects having promising potential to bring far reaching changes in the state.
He observed that he was a witness to these manifestations during his recent visits to the UK and the Azad Kashmir.
He lauded Prime Minister Gilani for taking up a firm and clear stand on the Kashmir issue with Indian Prime Minister in the recent SAARC meeting in Maldives.
