Why Shahid Kapoor and Bipasha Basu not yet ready for a full-fledged relationship?

Having previously been in the headlines, first with Kareena Kapoor and than with Priyanka Chopra, bollywood hero, Shahid Kapoor is still not ready to get involved with John Abraham’s ex- Bipasha Basu.

Bipasha-John relation was very well known even in the international media and both had an intense affair, hints could be taken from a bollywood film, Jism. As both co-stars reached the climax of their relationship, Bipasha asked John for marriage which was
declined by one of the upcoming ‘Desi Boy’.

Soon afterwards, both called it quit, causing disappointment for amongst most of the fans and directors.

Since then, it is believed that Bipasha and Shahid Kapoor have been dating and have also been seen a couple of times by the media personnel. Now, the picture is yet unclear whether they are just friends or something more than that. One thing is for sure,
though, that both like each other and have previously confessed in front of the media.

A lot of rumors about Bipasha-Shahid’s on-off relationship have been doing the rounds and if buzz is to be believed, the reason why Shahid is not being able to take this relationship forward is because of his past break ups.

According to a source, “Bipasha and Shahid really like each other and they wanted to take it a step ahead. But he is still not ready to get into a full-fledged relationship at this point.”

The source also says, “His friendship with Priyanka was very tumultuous. There was a lot of passion, but the many break-ups they went through took a toll on him. He is yet to get into that space where he could completely commit to someone.”

Talking about Bips, post breakup with John, the actress is finding comfort in her Dum Maro Dum co-star, Rana Daggubatti. Says the source, “Apparently, Bipasha confided in a friend recently, saying that Rana was a close friend and Shahid needs some more time
from her.”

Bipasha is currently not working at any of the projects but Shahid recently came up with ‘Mausam’ which failed to gather plaudits.
