NATO forces were contacted by Pakistani army to stop fire

The Pakistani army has recently made the claim that the Pakistani commanders were pleading with the NATO forces to put an end to their air strike but still the fire had continued on for almost two hours. The result of the tragic incident have caused the
deaths of 24 Pakistani soldiers and has triggered a wave of anger against the NATO forces in Pakistan.

From the NATO side, the incident has been described as "tragic and unintended". On the other hand, NATO has also said that the matter will not be left untended and they will carry out a full investigation to get to the bottom of the issue at hand.

There is another set of story from the Afghani officials who have preferred to be unnamed. According to these unnamed Afghan official sources, an mission was being carried out by the U.S. special forces as well as the Afghani commandos. This mission was
being conducted in collaboration by these two forces on the Afghan side of the border. While the U.S. Special forces and the Afghan commandos were conducting their mission, they received incoming fire from the Pakistani posts, according to the Afghan unnamed
sources. After the incoming fore was received, the response was made in terms of the air strikes that have caused the deaths of the Pakistani soldiers.

Maj. Gen. Athar Abbas, who is the spokesman for the Pakistani army, gave the following comments regarding the tragic incident that has come to pass: "At this point, NATO and Afghanistan are trying to wriggle out of the situation by offering excuses. Where
are their casualties?"

Abbas also said that the Pakistani soldiers that have lost their lives while standing guard at the two posts that were fired at fell victim to aggression by the NATO forces that was unprovoked. Abbas also added that the counterparts at NATO were contacted
by the Pakistani army personnel but the NATO forces failed to respond by stopping the ongoing fire at the Pakistani posts.

The tragic incident that took place on Saturday has worsened the ties between America and Pakistan and made nation of cooperation between the two nations bleaker than before.
