No Strings Attached: A Sexually-charged Romantic Comedy

No Strings Attached is undoubtedly a boring effort to make people laugh and the plot could have been portrayed in a much better manner than using the sexual effects.

It is a story of a troubled relationship between two old classmates who never knew if they were in love with each other but still were fond of spending time together.

The plot has been directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Elizabeth Meriwether and Michael Samonek. The main cast includes, Natalie Portman as ‘Emma’, Ashton Kutcher as ‘Adam’, Kevin Kline as ‘Alvin’, Greta Gerwig as ‘Patrice’, Olivia Thirlby as ‘Katie’,
and Jennifer Irwin as ‘Megan’.

Occasionally in the 15 years since summer camp, Adam and Emma cross paths.

During this time Adam meets different women and gets involved with them in one way or the other. Adam is not the only one of this type, his dad who lives alone is also fond of making love with different women and usually gets caught by Adam with a new woman.

When Adam discovers that an ex-girlfriend is living with his dad, he gets drunk, calls every woman in his cell phone contact list, and eventually ends up passed out naked in Emma’s living room, her summer camp friend.

As Emma and Adam are about to leave the room after listening to what happened with Adam last night, both turn to ‘undressed’ mode and utilise each second before Emma has to leave for the hospital.

By this time, Emma is a medical resident in L.A. and Adam is a gopher on a "Glee"-like TV series, hoping to be a writer.

She guards her emotions (calling her father’s funeral "a thing"), so after a quick shag in the moments she has before leaving for the hospital, she asks if he wants a no-strings-attached, sex-only relationship, without romance or complications. A prescription
for fun or for disaster?

No Strings Attached is certainly not the movie I would recommend to the readers of this article but it could offer you a decent time pas opportunity.
