Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s Smooth Joining in Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaaf

Finally the day came when Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had to announce his final decision, which he kept to himself until the procession of the November 27. Shah Mehmood had three political options and it wasn’t an easy decision for him to
choose one.

Still the veteran politician managed to play his cards extremely well. This can be judged from the fact that the entire procession of Ghotaki was organized in a way, which had made the process of Shah Mehmood’s joining in Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaaf absolutely
spotless.

In the initial part of his speech the Makhdoom of Multan mentioned the reason behind leaving the post of Foreign Minister, was that he took a firm stand in the Raymond Davis case, as he refused to hand the culprit to the United States. This answer cleared
him from all the claims which his bashers’ made against him that he had left the Pakistan People Party because the co-chairman made him leave the key post.

The former National Assembly member had also opened some secrets regarding the policy of his former party (PPP), which had done nothing for the people of Sindh, who had always supported the party. Shah Mehmood kept mentioning during his speech that he is
here to share things with the general public, so don’t raise slogans and let him speak his heart out.

In the second last phase of his speech Shah Mehmood said he had told Imran Khan earlier that he will take his time before reaching any final decision and today he wants the consent of this audience whether he should sit at home or came out and fight to save
Pakistan. The answer was come out and save Pakistan from the audience.

Then, Shah Mehmood asked the people of Ghotaki whether he should join forces with Tehrek-e-Insaaf the answer was again positive from the general public and with that Qureshi declared that he is joining PTI and accepted Imran Khan as his leader.

With this the veteran politician made his entire process of joining PTI very smooth, on which even his opponents can’t raise a finger, as he had joined the Tehrek with the consent of the general public.
