Daniel Radcliffe, the richest young British entertainer
Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 9:55:40 by Melvin ArthurDaniel Radcliffe was entitled as the richest young British entertainers, in the ranking of people under 30-years-old. On Tuesday, Radcliffe’s first rank was at the charts was revealed by a Heat Magazine list.
According to Heat estimates, Radcliffe has cumulated 51.8 million pounds ($80 million) throughout his career. Daniel Radcliffe’s appearance at the Sunday Times Rich List in 2006 as one of the richest young people in the UK, with a personal fortune of £14 million,
was not a surprise for the people in the vicinity, as he had more coming his way.
In March 2009, Radcliffe attained the number one spot on the Forbes ‘Most Valuable Young Stars’ list. By April The Daily Telegraph estimated his net worth at £30 million, entitling him the 12th richest young person in the UK.
Radcliffe was considered to be the richest teenager in England later that year. Radcliffe’s wealth stacks were not even yet, as the young and sensational lead actor of the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise had more to cumulate.
In February 2010, Radcliffe was notified as the sixth highest paid Hollywood male star. Later on he was placed at fifth spot, in the Forbes’s December list of Hollywood’s highest grossing actors. The statistics were made with due consideration to a staggering
revenue of US$780 million on the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Without any surprisingly formulated enunciation, previous predictions had stated about Radcliffe to have amassed £70m by the time the Harry Potter series concluded. However, it did not come at the forefront as it was perceived, as the actor was reported
to only have a wealth of £28.5 million in 2010.
Radcliffe at this level even, remained richer than Prince William and Prince Harry. Unlike the prevailing perception about a wealthy teenager, enjoying stardom and fame with apex enthusiasm and desperation to utilize the wealth, Radcliffe’s focus would never
be money.
Radcliffe’s acting debut came in at age ten at BBC One’s television movie David Copperfield (1999). After a short-term span his debut film was released in 2001 ‘The Tailor of Panama’. Casted as Harry in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, Radcliffe has starred
in eight Harry Potter films since 2001, with the final instalment released in July 2011.
