Hillary Clinton, the United States of America’s Secretary of state, reckoned on Wednesday that she was disappointed on Pakistan decision to boycott international Bonn conference on Afghanistan that is going to be held next week, however, anticipated to secure
Pakistan’s cooperation in the future.
“Nothing will be gained by turning our backs on mutually beneficial cooperation. Frankly it is regrettable that Pakistan has decided not to attend the conference in Bonn,” Clinton told a news conference in South Korea.”
NATO attacked on Pakistan’s check post in Mohmand Agency that killed 24 Pakistan soldiers and made PAK-US relations further in disaster.
“I would express regret and hope that perhaps there can be a follow-up way that we can have the benefit of Pakistani participation in this international effort to try to work a stable, secure peaceful outcome in Afghanistan.”
Hillary Clinton emphasized that USA officials were trying their best to investigate a “tragic incident” according to her. But the most important thing is that they learnt a lesson from this tragic incident because they had to continue cooperate with each
other.
