Mahek Chahal enjoying blessings of Salman Khan in Bigg Boss Season 5, says Pooja Bedi

The fifth season of COLORS’s famed reality show “Bigg Boss” is in full throttle as the house-mates find themselves jumping out of the frying-pan into the fan without getting any time to catch their breath. However, the house is not the only place where controversies
are brewing. In a recent interview to a tabloid, the recently evicted Pooja Bedi fell hard on Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar and co-host of “Bigg Boss Season 5”, accusing him of favouring one particular house-mate in particular, Mahek Chahal.

According to Pooja, Mahek is spreading a lot of negativity in the house and patrolling the house looking for fights as she has little to worry about, thanks to the support of “Mr. Khan”. The negative energy emitting from the 32-year-old Norway-born Bollywood
actress has left her disconnected from the other members of the house and left her somewhat isolated.

Pooja further added, “Everyone in the house thinks Salman is calling the shots. They’re unnerved. I like Salman! I’d be very distressed if he was protecting and helping Mahek to get to the finals.”

Pooja went on to say that the house-mates are beginning to feel scared of Mahek as upsetting her may get them in the bad books of Salman and consequently reduce their chances of prolonging their stay in the house.

Pooja is not the first house-mate to have spoken about the security that Mahek enjoys in the house due to her affiliation with Salman. Talking to a tabloid a few days after his eviction from the Bigg Boss house, Shakti Kapoor had termed Mahek as “Samlan’s
Girl” and remarked that she had a high probability of winning the show.

While the remarks by the evicted members and fears of the participants currently in the house may be considered as insecurities and nonsense by some, anyone who watched the episode where Salman lambasted Siddharth Bhardwaj, more commonly known as Sid among
the housemates, for going over-board during his spat with Mahek could quite clearly see that only one side of the coin was being shown. Salman’s partiality was apparent as he only humiliated Sid while completely overlooking Mahek’s hurl of abuse and provocation.

Interestingly, Mahek is the same girl who Salman had recommended to play the role of the heroine in two of his films, namely “Mein Aur Mrs Khanna” and “Wanted”.

The house-mates would surely breathe easy if and once Mahek somehow gets evicted from the house, which would serve to remove their fears of Salman calling the shots and one of the contestant enjoying undue, as well as unfair support by one of the host of
the show.
