Bahria University Football Team – Analysis – Defenders – Part 2
Talha Nadeem: Talha Nadeem is a relatively newer member of the Bahira team. The defender has gone on to make the right back position his own at the club and so far, there are hardly any people who can compete with him for that spot.
The defender has good pace and is a good distributor of the ball. However, when he loses his cool, he tend to go in the over kill mode and this causes him to rush into challenges, which expose the area behind him.
However, despite this minor flaw, the defender is almost always solid in his performances and tends to give the team a hundred percent every time he steps onto the pitch.
The fact that he still has around two years to go at the university, means that the team don’t need to look around for a replacement in the near future.
However, when he keeps insisting that his education is suffering because of the matches, he tends to face a lot of smack talk from the team, which he accepts, considering how foolish he tends to sound.
Ihtesham: The teams only naturally left footed player, is also one of the best fullbacks to ever play for the team. The bearded assassin tends to take total command of the left flank and bombards up and down the wing with some tantalizing runs. His performances
have always been exceptional and has always been a very important member of the team.
It is now going to be a wait to see just how far the player comes from his early days, as some excruciating tests lay ahead for the defender and the Bahria team.
Should Ihtesham go on and produce the same performances that he has against lesser sides, then he could go down as one of the best left backs to ever play for the team.
