Bengali beauty Megha Burman has said that she is willing to work in Bollywood films and Southern cinema.
Megha recently worked in film Dam 999 and the film revolves around nine characters and depicts the navarasas. Her latest release ‘Dam 999’ might be caught up in argument, but Megha is undeterred about the film’s ban in Tamil Nadu. She is preparing herself
for a long innings in the film industry.
Talking to reporters, Megha commented, “The film revolves around nine characters and depicts the navarasas. I represent the rasa of love and devotion, Shringaar. I play a Pakistani character called Raziya in the film who is longing for a child”.
She added that it was really great for her to work with well reputed actors like Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajit Kapur in the film.
Megha discussed her latest movie and stated, “It was great working with actors of repute like Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajit Kapur in the film. It’s a fictional story and does not revolve around a particular dam. My film means no harm and I never expected so
many controversies to surface even before the film’s release. If there is any scene that’s close to reality, that’s a sheer coincidence.”
Megha further mentioned that her character is very powerful in the film, although she has only few scenes in the film opposite the protagonist.
She went on to add, “Though I have only few scenes in the film opposite the protagonist, my character is very powerful. I am also open to commercial potboilers, in which I can look glamorous as I want to strike a fine balance between both commercial and
offbeat cinema. I am willing to work in Bollywood and southern cinema.”
Let’s see whether Megha works in Bollywood and southern cinema or not after making her debut in Tollywood.
