Men with average highest produce more children: American scientists

Some American scientists, after a lengthy research, have found that the men with average height possess potential to produce more children in compare with those who are tall or short. This research is based on the demographic stats of last 50 years.

A research article, published in the magazine named as ‘Behavioural Ecology and Sociology’ reveals that average-statured men’s wives can produce two or more children. Some scientists, who took part in the research project, believe that this phenomenon can
also be the result of the fact that such type of men have tendency to get married earlier.

According to the research findings, men with 5 feet and 10 inches of height have very low ratio of impotency, rather they are more successful in producing children.

However, a parallel research project has found that majority of women likes tall men as husbands and avoids marrying those who have average height. Aesthetic sense seems to be at work here as gents’ beauty is traditionally attached with tall height both
in Eastern and Western societies.  

On the contrary, there are some scientists who do not agree with this theory as they argue that height is nothing to do with a man’s fertility, rather there are some other factors including genetic problems and sperm disturbances which affect the children
producing capacity.

To some, the likelihood of early marriages is the basic reason of more children instead of height factor. According to some psychologists, men with average highest have certain complexes as girls often do not like to date them, therefore, they opt to get
married in early ages in order to satisfy their emotions. On the other hand, tall men do not bother about marriages much as they have pre-marital relations with women.

However, the validity of the new theory is to be proved or nullified when another research project will be carried out on this issue. It is also expected that the theory, whether proved to be valid, is not going to change marital trends as more children
are considered to be burdens in this era instead of assets.
