Who will answer these questions?

One week has been passed away to the incident of NATO/ISAF incursion at the security checkpoint in Mohmand Agency that killed 24 troops, but real picture of the entire incident has not been appeared so far.

We have only unanswered questions about what exactly happened on November 26, which put Pakistan and United States on two different ends.

The two countries have become gradually more unyielding in their stances. The US claimed that the incident was accidental and in reaction to attack on them. However, Pakistan has a hard stance saying that the incursion was a deliberate incident and severe
violation of the national sovereignty and integrity.

However, the duo countries failed to give reasonable answers to plenty of oddities that erupted after the US raid on Pakistani check posts.

One of the many queries is that why these two forces have not any systematic way to inform each other about the military operation inside the border either in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Was the attack carried out without informing Pakistani officials was result of the fears that the information might pass to the terrorists?

The United States has not given any convincing explanation or justified the incident if we believe that the NATO attack was result of a misunderstanding. Why allied forces attacked twice on the same check posts if it was a misunderstanding.

The NATO forces should have informed the Pakistan army that they were chasing the Taliban militants rather the security personnel, if it was a misunderstanding.

We don’t have sufficient information to reach a solid conclusion that what was happened in reality. Based on the rational details, we can portray that the NATO forces attacked the check posts, knowing that they were targeting the Pakistani forces.

As the incident of May 2 where US Navy Seals killed Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad, this incident also raised question about the strength and capability of army.

Have the defenders of sovereignty and integrity of this country had any strategy to protect the homeland from attacks? Similar to the Abbottabad raid when our radar system became failed, this time too army personnel deployed at the check posts failed to
get air support against the NATO incursion.

The Americans are investigating the incident as what was happened and why they attacked the Pakistani forces. However, we should also get to know that why not Pakistan Air Forces attempted to save the helpless army personnel.
