Apple’s larger ‘iPhone 5’ is coming in March 2012
Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 1:24:22 by sara.anwarAccording to Japanese blog Macotakara, Hitachi and Sony have begun shipping 4-inch LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panels to Apple for the final production of "new iOS devices" , which is reckoned to be successor of iPhone 4S. Macotakara further shared on
his blog that the next generation of iPhone aka iPhone 5 is expected to release in March 2012.
According to the news in speculation, Apple is going for a 0.5” increase in its current iPhone 4S’ 4-inch LCD panel, to come in head to head competition with Google’s top seller Android Smartphones. Currently, Apple is only falling short in screen size race
to its rivals, which includes 4.2-inch Samsung Galaxy SII and the Motorola Razr featuring a 4.3-inch LCD screen.
There is no confusion about the release of iPhone in March but there are contradictory views in circulation about the design of the latest iOS device. According to few other sources, iPhone 5 which will feature a few radical changes in design that is a switch
from its conventional rectangular LCD display to a newer teardrop shape with a metal casing. If this is the case that means the news about growing the 4-inch screen by a 0.5” is all fabricated.
It is very likely that that is the case because the same two reported companies, Hitachi and Sony, are also providing LCD display panels for iPad 3 to Apple, which is also due in March.
However, this mystery cannot be resolved until Apple itself makes some official announcement about its new design. This means that Apple lovers will just have to wait and watch for themselves when the product is released in March next year.
