First worldwide SIM card in Pakistan

A Canadian Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) Company’s Polar Wireless is investing through an introduction of first worldwide SIM card in Pakistan that will provide wholesale prepaid rates on voice, SMS, data services and roaming.
This service will eliminate the roaming charges exclusive of getting into the aggravation of changing phone numbers when people move country to country.
President Steve Robert of MVNO along with Polar Wireless network Director and Advisor Jim Lovie and Executive Vice President Robert Bent were present at the meeting with the national Board of Investment (BoI) while the Chairman of BoI Saleem H Mandviwalla
was given a brief presentation by all the executives.
In their presentation, all the executives including Steve Robert appreciated the potential in Pakistan telecom industry and how vast it has become over the course of mere ten years. He was not only willing to make more investments in the future but he was
already making speculations on how huge and profitable other ventures can also be started.
Chairman BoI, Saleem H Mandviwalla on the other hand, also took this plate-form seriously and promised the full support for Polar Wireless, who can establish a good relationship with both local carriers and distributors across the country.
