Gilani informs Cabinet about Zardari

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani headed the Federal Cabinet meeting today in Islamabad in which he stated that the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari was not in favour of leaving the country to get treatment for his heart but was left
with no choice after he made consultations regarding his health.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan stated this in the Federal Cabinet meeting that was being held in the Prime Minister Secretariat. Gilani also affirmed that the President of Pakistan had gone to Dubai in order to carry out medical checkups. Having said that,
Gilani also added that Zardari was feeling better than before as of now.

After the Prime Minister of Pakistan had informed his Cabinet about the health of the President of Pakistan, the members present carried out a prayer for the betterment in health of Asif Ali Zardari.  

The Cabinet meeting was mainly called for discussing key issues facing the country presently that included the security concerns of Pakistan as well as the political scenario prevailing in the country these days. Other than that, the management of gas load
in the country was also discussed in the meeting.

A member of the Pakistan’s People’s Party said that the son of the President, Bilawal Bhutto insisted that his father go to Dubai in order to carry out the medical check up. Bilawal was worried about the health of his father as Zardari has already experienced
a heart attack. This was way back in the year 2005, not long after Asif Ali Zardari was released from prison. At that time, the President of Pakistan came out of the prison after a being sent to jail on charges of corruption.

However, there are several rumours prevailing in the country regarding the absence of the President of Pakistan. One of them being that Asif Ali Zardari is being forced by the military of the country to step down from the office and the health issue that
are being highlighted are just an excuse to get the attention away from the main issue and provide Zardari with a face passage out.
