It has recently been revealed that the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari is expected to fly off to London in order to pursue further treatment for his heart condition. Such reports have been made by the aides of the President of Pakistan. If this holds
to be true, it is safe to assume that Asif Ali Zardari will not be returning to the country for some time in the near future.
The President of Pakistan reportedly experienced ill health related to his heart problem but was not willing to leave the country in order to undergo tests. However, on the insistence of his son, Bilawal Bhutoo, the President of Pakistan made a trip to Dubai
in order to undergo heart related tests. According to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Yousuf Raza Gilani, the tests conducted on Asif Ali Zardari did not show anything worrisome but the President of Pakistan was asked to stay under observation.
Bilawal Bhuttoo made the request to his father to visit the doctor in Dubai because he was worried that Asif Ali Zardari may not have another heart attack. The first time that the President of Pakistan experienced a heart attack was shortly after being released
from prison, where he was being held under charges of corruption. The first heart attack afflicted Asif Ali Zardari way back in the year 2005.
Gulf News made the following report regarding the President of Pakistan and his health condition: “Zardari will continue to be under observation in Dubai for some more days and it may last even more than two weeks.”
A statement made by the spokesperson of the President of Pakistan, Farhatulla Babar, commented on the health of Asif Ali Zardari in the following words: “His condition is stable, he is OK.”
Despite the fact that the reports related to the health of the President of Pakistan are being made, there is speculation about alternative causes of the absence of Asif Ali Zardari from the country. One of the rumours hold that the President of Pakistan
in being pressurised by the strong military of the country to step down from office.
