Z-shan Kazmi reveals big expectations from “The Dusk”

With Lollywood movies like Seedling, Kolachi, Waar and Ishq Khuda are already in the mix, one promising project that has alerted the Pakistani spectators is the upcoming Lollywood flick “The Dusk” directed by Z-shan Kazmi.

It was until the last month when the official trailer of “The Dusk” came to the internet and reports amid that the upcoming Lollywood venture has already attracted a host of audience that are eagerly awaiting new topics in the
Pakistani film industry.

The Dusk- is a drama centred on a newly married couple, Ali and Fatima, played by fashion models, Salman Khan and Uzma Khan. The thrill starts when Ali went missing after five days to his wedding and what adds more to the misery
to the bride is that the kidnappers neither demand any ransom money nor they contact.

The whole scenario becomes complicated for Fatima, who can’t figure out his husband dead or alive. The pain and agony continues for the newlywed bride, who looks at the door every single day in the hope of his husband’s possible
comeback.

“Central theme of the film is effects of terrorism on a common man and society’s reaction towards victims of terrorism.” Kazmi was quoted as saying.

She added: “The film has introduced new actors in lead roles to make it more realistic and believable and so many visual effects have been used to mimic some places and events which were not possible to shoot.”

The debutant director, Kazmi, revealed that she wants to give a message to all Pakistani’s to beware of the terrorism activities in the street’s and feel for those who had been targeted by the curse of terrorism.

Kazmi went on to reveal the inspiration of the movie by saying: “My inspiration for making this movie was my experience being Pakistani. I tried to say what I felt being a part of our society where these blasts and other terrorist
activities take place.”

In the meanwhile the producer of the movie, Wajahat Kazmi, is also optimistic about the movie and promises the viewers a good time.

The movie is said to be in post production phase and reports in Pakistan suggest that it will hit the shelves very soon.
